Not that I am a big proponent of the current health care bills in front of the Senate or the House, I would prefer a health care similar to Canada, but the majority of USA citizens did NOT place their vote against the current bills.....Massachusetts did.

Unfortunately there has to be a tragedy, and unfortunately a lot of people seem to "blame" individuals, gun control, and the economy.

Rick and Harley...I am jealous, here in Wisconsin the property taxes on my $200k home are $7900 this year. In 1992 they were $1700 and have gone up every year since, my total house payment in 1992 was $538.00 including the escrow for property tax.

Not the bill I had hoped for, but maybe a start. And by the way, other than this particular issue I have generally voted conservative. We still have a long ways to go, I prefer that we had a Canadian type system because of my personal experience with it as a business owner.
